    How do I reserve the venue?

    Details’ box on the homepage.

    What is included with the venue?

    When you book the Scoma Barn, you get so much more than the Barn. The adjacent pond area with a 40’ x 60’ cement patio with patio lights, usable fire pit, the garden room area, and a playground for the children.

    Also, the Scoma Country Home can be accessed for kitchen minor prep, 2 guest restrooms, a private groom’s room, an entire floor with 3 rooms and a private bath for the Bride and Bridesmaids.

    Included are 16 round white tables with 96 white plastic chairs.

    There are portable speakers that can be used with any phone.

    Wifi does not reach the Barn Area.

    If you want to increase the “fun factor” at your event, we have a pool area with 9-hole putt putt course. This area can be accessed with an additional charge.

    Can we serve alcohol?

    Yes, responsible use of alcohol is allowed at our venue.

    How does the pricing work?

    Pricing starts at $2500. We require half the total rental price up front with the balance paid within 30 days of the booking. All non-refundable.

    For smaller events or gatherings, we can customize your cost.

    When can I access to the barn and other facilities?

    The Scoma Barn is unique because we give you an Extra Decorating Day, the day before your event. We want to reduce, as much as possible, the stress of your main day.

    Decorating Day, the day before you event: Noon – 7pm

    Main Event Day: Noon – 10pm

    Clean Up is allowed up to 11pm

    What is the Capacity of the venue?

    We have had sit down events with up to 160 guests. Because of the expansive property, a drop in reception can be as many as 250 guests.

    Can we bring our own tables and chairs and supplies?

    Of Course! You bring whatever you desire. If you don’t want to use our tables and chairs, we will give you a discount on the rental.

    Do you supply tables and chairs?

    Yes, the are 16 tables with 6 chairs per table with a total of 96 chairs included. We do not supply tablecloths or other wedding or party supplies.

    Food and Beverage, recommendations?

    Our venue has hosted a wide variety of food services to suit every occasion.  From food trucks set up right next to the barn to client-arranged barbecues, homemade family dishes, and even sushi for a special event, the possibilities are endless—limited only by your imagination and budget.

    While you’re welcome to explore different options, we highly recommend our preferred vendor, Queen Events.     How do I rent the Pool Area?

    To rent the recreation area, which includes a heated pool, pavilion, 9-hole miniature golf course, ample seating, and an extended reception space, call (760)-271-0782.

    The recreation area is not included with barn, property, or house rentals but can be added to enhance your event. It’s also available for separate rental. Discuss availability during your reservation.

    Is the playground area part of the rental?
    Yes, the playground area is available for your event. No more than 3 children on the trampoline at a time. Adult supervision required. All play is “at your own risk”.
    How does parking work?

    We can accommodate more than 25 vehicles on the property and we have a public, free parking lot across the street. In the past, some of the families have provided fun “valet” services for their guests with horse drawn carriages, side by sides, golf carts, vintage cars, mini buses and hay wagons. This service is not needed but has added a measure of enjoyment for past clients.

    May I used other vendors or wedding planners?

    Yes. You are welcome to use any vendor or wedding planner you choose. You are not obliged to use our preferred vendor. We work with everyone. You can have your caterer or DJ contact us directly with any questions they might have. Our preferred vendor is:
